SCHOOL NIGHT RECRUITING
Recruiting is yearlong in scouting, but in September there is an extra emphasis on recruiting.  This is a great opportunity to add more kids and adult leaders to your unit.  Each pack should be represented at a minimum of one school.  If your unit is not represented at a school or if you don’t know, contact Eric Stephens immediately at 804-204-2624 or eric.stephens@scouting.org

POPCORN
The time to design your ideal year of scouting is now!!  Popcorn Sales is the easiest way to ensure your unit has the funding to provide a quality program.  Unit representatives make it happen by signing up now, to sign up contact Bret Smiley at 804-204-2617.   For more information about the sale go to www.scoutingvirginia.org

ROUNDTABLES
Roundtables are a form of commissioner service and supplemental training for volunteers at the unit level.  It serves as a source of information on events and training and an opportunity to share experiences and enjoy fellowship with other unit leaders.  Roundtables provide unit leaders with skills, techniques, and program ideas to enhance the quality of their meetings.  .  Please make an effort to participate in these informative sessions, which are designed to assist unit level leadership in program development.
